As we are reflecting on the pressure of checkin we are bringing back password less checkin.
Description: As an event participant, I want to be able to scan a QR code at the check-in desk, enabling direct access to the live event page. This should bypass the need for traditional password or OTP authentication, providing a significantly faster and smoother experience, aligning with community-based trust.
Constraints and Security Implementation: Crucially, access via QR code must be restricted. Users must not be able to perform sensitive actions such as changing profile settings without proper authentication. Full password or other secure authentication methods will be required for any such changes.
Configuration Options:
This feature should be configurable at two levels:
  1. Organization Settings: A global setting to enable or disable password-less check-in for the entire organization.
  2. Per Event: Individual events must also have the option to specifically enable or disable this functionality, overriding the global setting if needed.
Not for registration and all other interaction, full authentication is required.
