ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

Core Functionality:

•⁠ ⁠Search bar prominently displayed in header with global visibility

•⁠ ⁠Single search field that queries across all public content types

•⁠ ⁠Real-time search suggestions as user types (autocomplete)

Search Scope:

•⁠ ⁠Search across:

•⁠ ⁠Events (title, description, date, location, tags)

•⁠ ⁠Sessions (title, description, speaker names, topics)

•⁠ ⁠Partners (organization name, description, industries)

•⁠ ⁠Speakers (name, bio, expertise areas, events they're speaking at)

•⁠ ⁠Any other public content (blog posts, announcements, resources)

Search Results:

•⁠ ⁠Display results grouped by content type with badges/sorting

•⁠ ⁠Show relevance ranking (matches in title > description > tags)

•⁠ ⁠Highlight search terms in results

•⁠ ⁠Provide 3-5 results per category initially, with "view more" options

Filtering & Sorting:

•⁠ ⁠Filter by: content type, date range, location, tags/categories

•⁠ ⁠Sort by: relevance, date (newest/oldest), popularity

•⁠ ⁠Applied filters visible and easy to remove

UX Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Search functionality accessible via keyboard shortcut (Ctrl/Cmd + K)

•⁠ ⁠Empty state shows popular searches and trending content

•⁠ ⁠No results state provides helpful suggestions

•⁠ ⁠Mobile-responsive design
