Road to GatherUs v1.0

Problem: In email newsletters on MailChimp, we often feature multiple speaker headshots to promote the upcoming Thursday Gathering. Currently, it's not possible to link each speaker's headshot to their individual profile on GatherUs. Requested Feature: Allow each speaker headshot in email newsletters to have its own unique URL, so each image can link directly to that speaker's profile page on GatherUs. Benefit: This would provide recipients with an easier way to learn about individual speakers, improve the user experience and help increase click-through rates (CTR) from the newsletter to the event and speaker pages.

This update is here to give a clearer overview on the settings, progress and relationship between records.

There might be scenarios where visitors simply log into their account and get access to their QR code, rather than checkin into an event. How can we make sure that that person doesn't get a drink.

We would like there to be conditional steps in the survey questionnaire when people create an account (or specific event/session questions). For example, the What stage is your business in will only show to people who answered that they were a startup in the previous step.

As a: community leader or admin, I want to: duplicate existing events and sessions with a single click, So that: I can quickly create similar events/sessions without manually re-entering all the details. Add the ability to send test emails of your email templates (General and Event & Session-specific) from the backend.

Similar to Mailchimp and Wordpress, it's efficient for media/image files to be shared among team members. Currently with GatherUs, image files are downloaded locally on each user computer which makes it difficult to share data and collaborate among teams. Be able to categorize images that teams use regularly for easy access (similar to Wordpress media folders).

Allow a manual check-in laptop for accessibility reasons and customer recovery purposes. If the technology doesn't work perfectly, attendees are still able to trust our brand by checking in on a computer instead of giving up, ignoring the new protocols, refusing to stick with it, or moving on without checking in.

Add a preview text like Mailchimp has. So what the first sentence an email client display in the email overview.
