Send an email (which can be toggled on and off in notification settings) that confirms that someone is checked in. This allows people who get in app browser for checkin when scanning the QR code to access the live event dashboard. The link should be so that you don't have to sign in again when it opens in a different browser.

After one moth of data we are implementing solutions to the most crucial learnings that we have had. These updates include: ✅ People not ending up at the expected screen when checkin ing, leading to; Not getting checked in the first time the scan the QR – We have heard a lot of reports about that people are not getting their sticker after scanning the QR-code. Only after scanning QR-code again does it print. Make it clear people with existing accounts can use SSO Add sign in with Apple with SSO (Pending their review approval) ✅ Printer stability improvements ✅ Test with more browsers and patch potential issues. Update profile (including email) to allow for SSO connection moving forward. ✅ Investigate solutions for edge-cases: people without a phone, poor connections etc. ✅ Investigate why some people don't stay signed in

The need to have multiple location where people can enter. Then the sticker needs to print in the right place. For example. At the Global Gathering, Venture Café has an entry at CIC and one at Toranomon Hills. Then when checking in at CIC we don't want sticker to print at Toranomon Hills.

For instance getting a push notification saying: "Your session is starting in 5 min" and so on.

Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are making sure that your users can install the app on their phones, without having to go to the app-store. This is also the closest pathway to activate push notifications from GatherUs.
